Web-based container real-time locating & monitoring RTLM (SMART-TRAKKER™) services
A partnering team comprising of terminal operators, supply chain logistic companies, and security monitoring companies will be organized to form the network of a designated “Public Independent Monitoring Agencies” (PIMA). Designated PIMA or similar organized alliances will provide the required real-time web-based monitoring services. An effective container security management system must include the following services:
PORT AUTHORITY REPORTING SERVICES
- Report to destination port authority any unauthorized access or opening of any container in real-time.
- Continuous reporting of change of status of any tampered container.
- Optional reporting of sensor-based data in real-time.
CUSTOM AUTHORITY REPORTING SERVICES
- Report to destination custom authority any unauthorized access or opening of any container in real-time.
- Continuous reporting of change of status of any tampered container.
SHIPPING AGENT REPORTING SERVICES
- Report to departure shipping agent any unauthorized access or opening of any container in real-time.
- Continuous reporting of change of status of any tampered container.

AVANTE believes an effective container and supply chain security solution must include end-to-end container tracking and full container intrusion monitoring. Any container intrusion and container handling exceptions must be reported in real-time and anywhere during the intermodal transit.
Many aspects of the Cargo Tracking Solution and particularly for hazmat application have been tested and verified by EPA EVT program.
